4. In Z/private/101f51f2/PKI/96b7db19a4d...../
it has files in called
Code:
devicecert.der
deviceprivatekey.der
signningcert00.der
signningcert01.der
or in Z/private/10203636/security/trustroots/device/certificates/
nokia content signing
Code:
nokiaonlineca.cer
PCA3ss_v4.der
thawtepremium.cer
UTI_Root.der

5. C:\PRIVATE\101F4CD2\Content\appshelldata.xml
this file contains the whole menu layout (N82)

6. I found some huge file in phone, c:/private/102072c4/reserved.bin, 4.5 Mb size of plain 0xff.
Deleted it and free up phone memory check if your phone has one.
the files are for FOTA (firmware over the air) coz when i remove it, and go to the device mgr. app it reapears, so its safe to remove it, we wont need it as we never get any FOTA updates.

Excellent info. BTW, I want to add a bit of info to it.
C:\Private\10005A3E\mediaplayer.dat - This is list of Recent clips in Real Player. Those who want to hide what videos they have seen, can just delete it
And for OS9.1 phones (in my N73-1), some of the folders are different. For example, the

C:\Private\100012a5\DBS_100069CC_btregistry - Bluetooth device List

C:\Private\10003a5b\Calendar - Calendar File
Hope this helps someone.

Completed Tutorials Modified X-Plore By Mobile Phone

Posted by Dhani_phantom 0 comments
In N73, I used at 1st in v.1.22, a progress icon still in animated [in image.pcx\have a mask]
it's happen by being open the .dta with Y-Browser.v.0.87, auto open by ZipMan, but fails to extracting some files. It's the begining. Since this I begin to edit the .cps .eg CorePlayer, .jar .eg Opera mini & My N82 used to be have 4 of an OperaMini [origin\mod C/E drive] all works after the MANIFEST.MF.
.
.
Tutor to modd the data.dta belong to X-Plore.
You can mix all icons & compared with the skin that ever created or by Your own pic.
May compressed the language or adding too.
Prevent the NUMERIC of menu system as a JBak TaskMan, UcWeb, TTPod. Operating Of X-plore will be more fast too.
.
.
Reguired :
A Hacked Phone
X-Plore
Y-Browser or variants
Font Which support for some symbols [not too important. If yes You need Symb-X a Python stuff]
zipManager
.
.
Ways :
.
.
1
Sett configuratios language of X-Plore, switct to english, be carefull for sett Your text coding type suggested as the language as You pick up the alphabet for editing, it is a major arter done the editing. If not correct, the result... You will see the empty or unknown charactere when You launch X-Plore !
.
.
2
Go to i\Private\a0000bcd\Explorer\ , & copy the data.dta & put in some folder .eg :
E\Installs !
.
.
3
Rename the extention of .dta to .zip [ data.dta = data.zip ].
.
.
4
made the new folder at this folder [.eg E\Install\A\ &
extract all files inside the data.zip including the folders . [extracting only with X-Plore , if You do it with ZipManager, some files will fail to extract]. Extract all in A folder that You just made it. Delete data.zip for avoid a confuseion.
.
.
5
For now You will be able to replace the following files as You wish.
files is [image] :
Buttons.png. [opacity : 0]
Icons_file.png. [opacity : 0]
Info_icons.png. [opacity : 0]
Logo.png. may also .jgp,jpeg.
The name of new files have to be the same with the an original.
.
.
6
Edit the language.txt inside the lang folder.

copy the English.Txt to another folder then rename it .eg NUMERIC.txt.
Press 8 to strings [if Your language of country is not supported by X-Plore, may translate with GTranslate , MobiHex , etc, if You intend to add Your country lang].
Be carefull when strings the .txt about the EnterKeyPad [D-Pad] if You screw up this, after packed then your menu options will not in systematic or even more bad Explore can't load the lang that You just created, result X-Plore will exit without confirm.

Example :
.
Include RAM drives
RAM drives in list
Include.system Documents/Directorys
List system (sensitive) directory and documents/cyclops with System Flags
Skin Color
Theme used in the program
Language
.
You have to know where is space[0 Key] or down/enter[D-Pad].
.
With Symb-X You can put The symbols as a Numeric.
done
Save
.
.
7
Cut file NUMERIC.txt to E\Installs\A\Lang
.
.
8.
Open ZipManager
[setting of ZipManager *include sub folder, must be on/yes]
Options, new zip, write the file as data.zip, ok, options, add to document, then browser to E\Install\A\, mark all files include the folders & add to document. Done ?. Exit ZipManager.
WARNING :

.
.
9.
Rename the extention from .zip to .dta.
exit X-Plore, open Y-Browser, copy data.dta to i\Private\a0000bcd\Explorer\ replace the old 1
.
.
A
Open X-Plore, press 0 for sett lang then choose NUMERIC

Table for Icon ID and Mask ID when packing icons into a MIF By Zylam Marex

Posted by Dhani_phantom 0 comments

People have asked how to figure out the icon id and mask id for icons they packed into a mif using smart sis, the regular answer is the first icon's id starts with; Icon ID=16384 and Mask ID= 16385 and for the next icon just add 2 to both the ids.
Now it sounds easy when you know what you're talking about but when you're new to packing mif's it sounds pretty weird so i made this table;

Packing a Mif
-Install Smart Sis on your phone.
-Gather all the icons you want to pack into a mif they have to be svg files. It does not matter if you can't open them or view them on your computer they just have to be svg's does not matter if you extracted them from another mif.
TIP: to make it easier to know the sequence rename the icons in order, eg; Icon1, Icons2 etc.. i'll explain latter on.
-Put them all into a folder and copy this folder to your memory card
-In Smart Sis goto Options>Tools>Mif Utility> Options again>Pack to mif>Files from Dir
find your folder but don't go into it just middle click on it (highlight it and using the d-pad click it)
Smart sis will than pack all the svg icons into a mif and name it the same as your folder.
Now to know what sequence the icons are in you can unpack the mif you made and view which icon is what number, eg if i packed touch icons into a mif and whated to know what number the contacts icon is at i would unpack the mif and using the phone view what number it is at and using the table i will know what its icon id and mask id is.
For the appshell;
In the appshell add this line to the application you want to change;
icon_file="location of mif" icon_id="16396" mask_id="16397"
Example mine usually look like this;
icon_file="C:\Data\Zylam\Apps\NokiaOVI.mif" icon_id="16396" mask_id="16397"
hope this helps if you needed info in packing mifs
